Female personal trainer and sports fitness expert Karly makes movement part of her lifestyle and believes everyone can adapt this principle.

Coming from Canada, where she studied Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy in university, she has always lead an active lifestyle. With a background in Sports Therapy for the past 10 years, she prioritizes safe technique and form in her sessions and classes. From Sports Therapy, Karly branched out to obtaining certifications in Stott Pilates & yoga. Coming from a diverse educational background, Karly can provide your personal training sessions in Abu Dhabi at home or your gym.

Karly's Coaching Experience & Fitness Qualifications:

Karly holds a degree in Kinesiology and a certification in Athletic Therapy.

She has completed 200 hour training in an Ashtanga Yoga development program, and well as a 40-hour training in an athletic style of yoga called Joga.

She has completed the full Stott Pilates Mat teacher training. Karly has also done many orthopaedic workshops with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions. This includes Functional Movement Systems & Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

In terms of general fitness, gym sessions will focus on dynamic warm-up; functional movements; corrective exercises as needed; and general strength and conditioning. Flexibility and mobility work will be included in every session.

Yoga sessions can be done in an athletic style, such as Ashtanga, or a calm, relaxing style such as Yin yoga – and everything in-

between. Yoga sessions will combine dynamic, flowing movement, stillness, breathing & meditation to allow you to slow down, and allow the body to realign to its natural balanced state.
